Unser Klient, ein Technologieunternehmen mit hohem Wachstumspotential, spezialisiert auf die Entwicklung von Businesslösungen für Klein- und Mittelständische Unternehmen, ist derzeit auf der Suche nach einem erfahrenen IDE Lead Software Engineer (m/w) zur Verstärkung des Entwickler Teams. Zu den Aufgaben gehören:

- Lead, manage and develop a team of 4 engineers
- Define and realise the vision of the IDE
- Be an active management team member with a direct reporting line to our CEO
- Design and develop features of our developer tools, such as visual designers, debugger, source editor, refactoring and deployment
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of our developer tools
- Enhance the developer experience by making the tools fun, simple and efficient to use
- Code primarily in Java
- Leverage the Eclipse platform, related tools and libraries
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work in a dynamic team oriented environment using agile methodologies
- Become an evangelist for external developers using our IDE

Sie sind der richtige Kandidat (m/w) wenn Sie folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

- 8+ years of experience in product development and a strong passion for developing great products
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong experience developing applications on top of the Eclipse platform and good understanding of various Eclipse APIs
- Experience developing an IDE is a big plus
- Experience in JavaScript and web development
- M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Understanding of UI development using SWT
- Understanding of EMF and model-driven development is a plus
- Established network in the Eclipse community is a plus
- Ability to lead a multicultural team
- Very good English communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new ideas
